Counseling may be of benefit to anyone - male, female, young or old.  Counseling is designed to provide support for our life journeys.

Yes. I offer individual, pre-marital/couple, marriage, and family counseling.  Pre-marital counseling is an awesome way to make sure you and your partner are starting your marriage with a strong foundation.  I believe the rate of divorce would drop dramatically if more couples would invest in pre-marital counseling.  Pre-marital counseling helps you identify areas of strength as well as learn valuable skills to address areas of potential conflict.  While no one foresees having marital difficulties, couples are often surprised to find that marriage is hard work - regardless if they have been married one year or 30!    Making sure you have appropriate skills and strategies to use throughout your marriage is a wise decision.

Spiritual counseling is a helping relationship in which the counseling support is offered with a spiritual orientation.  The goals of spiritual counseling are to help you know yourself as whole - completely acceptable and worthy of love, to help you be able to love and to forgive, to help you know yourself as being fully accepted and loved by the Divine, and to see that truth in everyone. 

Spiritual counseling may focus on your spiritual concerns/difficulties and/or it may work with current life issues utilizing spiritual tools.  It aims to deepen and strengthen your experience of and relationship to the Divine in a way that is meaningful to you.  It strives to help you awaken to your own inner Wisdom, Truth, and Divinity.

No.  I trust each individual's innate wisdom and ability to awaken to their truth.  Therefore, you may decide whether or not you wish counseling to be spiritually oriented.  My desire is to create a safe, sacred environment for you, to be a witness to your work, and to help you connect with and live according to your authentic self.

Absolutely not.  Counseling can be a place for receiving support as you "fine-tune" behavioral changes, or it can be a place to bounce around ideas as you are problem solving/making decisions about your future.  Whatever comes up and wants to be known is welcome to be addressed in a counseling session.  Listen to your inner wisdom.

Yes.  In addition to being an Interfaith minister, I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works with children, adolescents, and their families.  Since play is the language of children, it is developmentally the most appropriate avenue for them to express and process their emotions.  To learn more about play therapy, please visit the Association for Play Therapy's website at www.a4pt.org.

Sessions are 45 minutes in length.  We can meet on a regular schedule or you can call to schedule as the need arises.  The cost for the initial session is $115.  Follow-up sessions are $95.
